About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join an IT team dedicated to integration services and business applications. You will design, develop, and support integration solutions across multiple entities and information systems, acting as the technical reference point for internal stakeholders on integration architecture, API management, and middleware best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation of integration solutions across different entities and information systems
• Provide operational support for the integration landscape (infrastructure, solutions, applications)
• Design, develop, and deliver integration solutions using the webMethods suite: Integration Server, Designer, API Management, Universal Messaging, My webMethods Server / Trading Networks, Business Rules, MFT, and Unit Testing Framework
• Act as the technical point of contact for internal customers on integration architecture, API management, and middleware best practices
• Adapt quickly to business needs to minimize incidents, risks, and the impact of new integrations
• Manage stakeholder communications regarding services, requests, projects, changes, and incidents (including via ServiceNow)
• Communicate on project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation plans
• Ensure deadlines, quality indicators, and service commitments are met
• Ensure code quality and compliance with technical standards
• Create and maintain technical and production monitoring documentation

Your Profile

• Higher education degree in IT or equivalent technical qualification
• 8 to 12 years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years designing and developing integration solutions
• At least 10 years of project delivery experience with webMethods
• Strong expertise in webMethods flow services, Java services, and interface migration (inbound/outbound flows, various file formats)
• Experience delivering projects across multiple webMethods environments, including SAP and non-SAP ERP integrations
• Ability to build and manage REST and SOAP APIs using API Gateway
• Experience with integration protocols (SFTP, HTTPS, SMB, etc.)
• Knowledge of data formats: IDOC, Flat File, XML, JSON, SOAP
• Experience integrating with:

- Messaging systems (JMS, Universal Messaging)

- JDBC adapters

• Knowledge of clustering, load balancing, and high availability for webMethods runtime components
• Basic knowledge of webMethods.io Integration / iPaaS and hybrid integration architectures
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix administration
