Are you the person we are looking for?

Our Engineering Services team seeks a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with recent experience in software development and cross-functional project management, especially in product release management. You will demonstrate technical skills by assembling and re-flashing custom hardware, reproducing issues, collecting logs, debugging, and testing fixes and features. Your project management skills will be evident in planning software releases, responding to customer requests, gathering and documenting requirements, and managing project schedules and content.

You should have recent software development experience, ideally in the Embedded and RTOS market, to oversee, manage, and coordinate delivery of complex projects within budget, schedule, and contractual limits, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Optimize resource use, monitor budgets.
• Gather and analyze data including budgets, schedules, and technical requirements.
• Develop detailed project schedules.
• Manage risks to ensure project success.
• Assign work packages and ensure stakeholder commitment.
• Contribute to external contracts as needed.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with developers, contractors, and internal departments.

Required skills & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in technical program/project management or as a Software Developer with extensive coding and customer interaction experience.
• Supervisory experience in technical projects or teams.
• Knowledge of UNIX-based OS.
• Strong planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of technical procedures and contractual processes.
• Leadership, innovation, and communication skills.
• Experience with software project management in an Agile environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Software development experience in the Embedded and RTOS market.

Additional experience (not essential but a plus):

• Managing commercial projects in the Embedded and RTOS market.
• Experience with QNX.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, CMMI, IEC 61508, IEC 62304, SPICE, Common Criteria, ISO 26262, or similar.
