We are recruiting for a technical Sales/Business development Manager for our power Semiconductor portfolio in EMEA, who is highly motivated and can build solid working relationships with clients, management and staff across the organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, quick-turnaround, team-based work environment, can handle multiple projects - supporting customers with a high level of skill, utilizing a wide range of engineering knowledge and a good technology base.

The Sales Manager will handle Direct business, as well as working with Channel partners, reporting to the Power Segment leader EMEA. The Sales Manager will be responsible to increase Qorvo's power devices footprint in EMEA (European Industrial- and Automotive- Markets). The Product portfolio is covering Power Management/Motor control- and Battery management- semiconductors, as well as SiC Power Transistors.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales Managers in EMEA to achieve sales targets and revenue as defined by the business leadership.
  • Meet and exceed Qorvo's assigned revenue and design win targets to support continuous growth.
  • Support customers and channel partners through the design cycle from prospect opportunity to production.
  • Guide a team of Field Application Engineers.
  • Define with lead customers new product ideas.
  • Establish solid customer relationships, building trust, and understanding the customers’ business case to develop ideal value propositions.
  • Ensure customer retention and expansion through relationship building and participation in periodic account reviews to contribute your expertise on technical topics.
  • Participate in strategic business development initiatives by supporting customer calls and visits.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and other teams to assist with technical escalations.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with channel partners.
  • Develop and execute sales concepts with a view to new customers, targeting potential new business, new customers and new applications.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate project documentation in the CRM tool.
  • Monthly forecast driving accurate production planning.
  • Periodic travel, up to 80%, as needed to successfully create customer-relationship and demand.

Technical Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor / Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent as well as at least 2 years of experience in an Engineering/Design role.
  • 5+ years Semiconductor Sales Experience and a solid Network within the Industrial Electronics Market.
  • Knowledge in Power Management and Motor control, telecommunication and RF/Microwave engineering. LTE and 5G, Ultra Wideband and IoT is a plus.
  • High-level understanding of Electronic Systems on block diagram level and individual block functions.
  • Experience with consultative sales techniques.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German and English (other languages are a plus).
  • Excellent networker, eager to learn and able to develop high-quality relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands.
  • Self-motivated and performance-driven with ability to work independently and focused in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand, translate and report customer requirements.
  • Driving license class B.

Hiring office is Munich, home office supported, preferred location is Germany.
