Overview
In this role you will serve as the primary pre-sales engineer for ECAD integration with CAD/MCAD and PLM across EMEA, focusing on validated opportunities. You translate customer needs into robust solution concepts, lead workshops, demos, and PoCs, and support evaluations, proposals, and tender processes. You work closely with sales, services and product management to ensure smooth handovers into delivery and maintain high pre-sales standards. You engage engineering, IT and business stakeholders as a credible advisor, connecting technical topics to clear business value.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Support qualified ECAD-related opportunities across EMEA and act as technical contact in early project phase
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into robust solution concepts with clear value
- Lead workshops, discovery sessions, demos and proof of concepts (PoCs)
- Support technical evaluations as well as proposals and tender processes
- Collaborate with sales, services and product management to ensure smooth handover to delivery and maintain high pre-sales standards
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Solid experience in pre-sales, solution consulting or technical sales in ECAD with CAD/MCAD or PLM
- Understanding of engineering processes, product data management and integration in customer environments
- Willingness to learn and ability to adapt quickly to new systems and requirements
- Comfortable setting up and administering demo and PoC systems
- Ability to engage engineering, IT and business stakeholders as a credible peer and communicate clearly
