Role Overview
As a Senior Expert Ignition, you will be part of the SCADA / Enhanced Automation Team, responsible for the technical implementation of solution architectures and the development of SCADA/IIo T solutions.
You will work closely with internal and international teams, customers, partners, and suppliers to design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support industrial automation and visualization systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concepts and detailed system designs based on customer requirements.
- Define project milestones, tasks, work packages, and implementation requirements.
- Lead and coordinate technical activities with local and international teams.
- Develop, configure, and document SCADA/HMI and visualization systems.
- Design solutions for connecting machines and equipment to higher-level systems such as SCADA, MES, and ERP.
- Develop and implement industrial software solutions.
- Manage the transition of solutions from test environments to production systems.
- Develop and coordinate testing activities.
- Support installation and commissioning at customer sites when required.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support.
- Work with global support teams to ensure system availability and operational readiness.
- Mentor and support apprentices within the organization.
- Occasionally support sales and marketing activities from a technical perspective.

- Strong experience with SCADA/HMI software development.
- Experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation is highly desirable.
