Quantity Surveyor

Quanta is supporting a significant capital investment project in Germany.

This global biologics client is currently building their capital projects team and requires a Quantity Surveyor with previous Greenfield or Brownfield facility build experience to support their new venture.

We are interested in speaking with senior consultants seeking a long-term assignment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide project controls management, including works contractor cost report development and management.
2. Process monthly progress applications for certification.
3. Manage standard onsite work instruction procedures.
4. Generate works contractors\‘ cost reports for project managers.
5. Integrate individual contractor costs into overall project cost reports.
6. Carry out onsite re-measures of completed works in line with contract conditions.
7. Manage works contractors\‘ project costs from award to final account agreement.
8. Review budgets and quotations to ensure value for money.
9. Attend weekly contractor meetings across various projects.
10. Develop working relationships with line managers and team members through open communication.

Education and Experience:

• Qualification in a QS / Commercial-related subject.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven record of delivering power generation projects.
• Experience in pharma / bio supporting capital projects.
