Job Description:

As a Flight Test Engineer, you will be part of our System Testing and Prototyping team, playing a key role in testing and improving drones and systems in collaboration with development. You will work with a team of 8 members to push drone technology boundaries.

You will collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure our drones are delivered \’bug free\‘. Your motivation to test products thoroughly supports Quantum Systems\‘ mission to lead in aerial data collection with unmanned systems.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct flight tests to evaluate UAV performance
• Perform pre-flight inspections and ensure equipment readiness
• Address error tickets to maintain quality assurance
• Analyze flight data and prepare reports
• Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues
• Stay updated on UAV industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\’s in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Experience in drone function assurance or operation
• Knowledge of surveying drones, photogrammetry, lidar data is advantageous
• Familiarity with drone handling and functional safety
• Interest in drones, model aircraft, robotics
• Proficiency with flight test equipment/software
• Self-motivated and responsible
• Excellent communication skills and team orientation
