Overview
As Head of Group Assurance you will build and lead a modern, risk-based Internal Audit function across the Group to support international growth. You will establish governance, methodologies and a risk-based audit plan, then run end-to-end audits and turn findings into pragmatic improvements. You act as an independent sparring partner to senior leadership, providing transparent insight into key risks and controls. You will shape the assurance model, embedding independence while collaborating with GRC, Finance, Legal and HR to scale the function and raise audit coverage and impact.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Establish Group Assurance governance, methodology and risk-based approach
- Develop group-wide risk view and multi-year audit plan
- Lead end-to-end internal audits across functions and entities
- Provide independent assurance on governance, risk management and controls
- Challenge senior leadership and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Build and develop the Group Assurance team and operating model
- Apply data, technology and modern audit approaches to increase insight and efficiency
- Collaborate with GRC, Finance, Legal, HR and business leaders while maintaining independence
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Leadership experience in Internal Audit or Group Assurance in international/complex organisations
- Proven track record building or transforming an Internal Audit function
- Strong risk-based auditing and governance knowledge; understanding of internal control frameworks and ERM
- Business-oriented mindset with ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Comfort engaging with C-level executives while preserving independence
- Collaborative leadership and track record building high-performing teams
- Curiosity for modern assurance approaches, including data analytics and technology-enabled auditing
- High integrity and discretion, especially with sensitive matters; professional judgement
- Professional qualification such as CIA, CISA, CRMA, ACCA or equivalent is advantageous
- Fluency in English; German is an advantage
