About the role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of complex projects sold by our sales team to our customers. You will lead all critical project activities, ensuring effective management of dependencies and risks while adhering to key timelines. Your role includes providing comprehensive status updates and reports to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, project managers, and steering committee stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. You will also lead initiatives to drive cross-team collaboration, fostering a cohesive approach to project execution and ensuring alignment across all involved departments.

What you’ll be doing

1. Lead, manage and maintain the end-to-end lifecycle of large and multi-country projects, including planning, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with company objectives and successful project delivery.

2. Drive the definition of project scope and objectives, ensuring active involvement and alignment from all key stakeholders.

3. Understand customer needs and expectations, ensuring that project deliverables meet or exceed these requirements and drive customer satisfaction.

4. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget; managing project scope changes and ensuring that any alterations are assessed for impact, documented, and communicated effectively to all relevant parties.

5. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project stability and successful delivery.

6. Leverage in-depth product knowledge to ensure the delivery of value by aligning project execution with business objectives.

7. Continuously assess and enhance project management processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

8. Explore alternative methods for implementation and assess the potential effects of these modifications.

9. Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication between stakeholders across different departments.

10. Be part of the sales process, and identify opportunities for commercial growth.

What you’ll bring to the team

1. Business fluency in both German and English.

2. Extensive experience managing multi-country business software (SaaS) implementation projects, demonstrating a strong track record in leading complex, large-scale initiatives.

3. Strong interest in and experience in implementing cloud-based software solutions.

4. Extensive consulting experience in managing and driving projects.

5. Be amazing at developing effective working relationships internally at a variety of levels, departments, and geographies.

6. Highly organized and analytical, with a talent for overcoming obstacles through innovative and adaptive problem-solving.

7. Proactive self-starter with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts.

8. Work in Smartsheets to keep track of your projects.
