Scientific Consultant At Genedata (a Danaher operating company), the Scientific Consultant ensures customers maximize the value of our leading software solution throughout its adoption lifecycle.
The role combines scientific, technical, and project‑management responsibilities while serving as a subject‑matter expert, educator, collaborator, and trusted partner.
The position reports to the EU Head Scientific Account Manager and is part of the Screener Business Unit located in Basel (Switzerland).
This is an on‑site role.
Key Responsibilities Become a subject‑matter expert in Genedata Screener and the analysis of biological data.
Provide end‑to‑end customer support, from pre‑sales engagements through deployment, implementation, optimization, and production usage.
Plan and lead a variety of projects, including scientific consulting, custom implementations, system integrations, and data analysis initiatives.
Collaborate closely with sales team colleagues to clearly communicate the value and impact of Genedata products to prospective and existing customers.
Apply scientific and technical insights to contribute to strategic initiatives in science, marketing, development, and product‑management functions.
Qualifications A postgraduate degree in biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related life‑science discipline.
Basic familiarity with the shell command‑line interface.
Basic experience with Python scripting.
Project‑management experience or training.
Ability to present complex scientific topics in an understandable and compelling way.
