Rail Net Europe (RNE) is an association of European Infrastructure Managers (IMs) and Allocation Bodies (ABs) headquartered in Vienna.
With around 80 international employees, we actively shape the future of European rail transport.
Through innovative processes and IT solutions, we drive the digitalization and efficiency of European capacity management in view of the upcoming requirements from EU legislation.
We are looking for an experienced Coordination & Performance Manager to help shape new solutions, contribute ideas, and make a meaningful impact on sustainable European transport.
YOURDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement structures, processes, and tools to support cross-border rail services.
Support the development of the European Performance Review Framework.
Coordinate strategic and analytical rail infrastructure performance activities.
Strengthen cooperation between RNE’s Joint Office and infrastructure managers
Foster multilateral engagement with rail policy makers, authorities and customers of rail infrastructure managers.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Solid general knowledge of the rail sector, complemented by 3+ years of in-depth experience in capacity, traffic or performance management; relevant tertiary degree is a plus.
Experience in European or international environments with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement new methods, structures and processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
Excellent negotiation skills, achieving win-win outcomes in complex stakeholder environments.
Fluent working knowledge of English; additional EU languages are an advantage.
