(Senior) Frontend Engineer - Platform (m/f/d)

For further development and expansion of our successful business, Raisin is looking for highly motivated, smart, and driven engineers in Berlin. As a (Senior) Frontend Engineer – Platform, you will work alongside our development teams to ensure a highly automated software development life‑cycle, enabling modern front‑end applications deployed to the cloud via continuous delivery practices. As part of our Tech Platform tribe, you will work with cutting‑edge technologies and initiatives that shape the vision of our Frontend Platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide significant impact on customer experience by optimizing Frontend applications for performance and scalability.
• Drive internal platform efforts, improving development tools and the Frontend ecosystem according to modern principles.
• Contribute to building the development infrastructure used by stream‑aligned teams and drive automation and integration projects.
• Research, assess, develop and maintain new technology solutions for our Frontend Platform.
• Set standards, establish guidelines and share best practices with the team to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
• Provide stable automated solutions for internal customers to speed up product testing and delivery.
• Encourage teams to strive for test automation and quality assurance throughout the development process.

Your Profile

• University degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Frontend or Full‑Stack engineer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Strong experience with React or similar frameworks/libraries.
• Familiarity with CSS‑in‑JS like styled‑components.
• Experience with Next.js, static site generators, JAM‑Stack, headless CMS, and material‑UI is a huge plus.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Jest.
• Hands‑on experience with micro‑frontend architecture and monorepo setup.
• Good understanding of Frontend build tools and bundlers such as Webpack, Rollup, Babel.
• Devotion to quality and adherence to JavaScript community best practices.
• Strong passion for Platform Engineering practices and experience with modern CI/CD and front‑end automation.
• Comfortable and confident in technical and architectural discussions.
• Open‑minded, creative team player eager to contribute to technical and cultural improvement.
• Excellent English communication skills.
