This role can be placed in either of our offices in Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf or Munich.

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Service Practice Lead (m/f/d)– Business Strategy to drive the growth and success of our strategy consulting offering.

Your new role

In this leadership role, you will shape our strategy practice, lead high-impact client engagements, develop consulting capabilities, and contribute to the continued growth of our business.

You will work closely with industry leaders, clients, and senior stakeholders to help organizations define and execute strategies that create sustainable value and long-term success.

The role combines client leadership, business development, people leadership, and practice management within a collaborative and matrix-based consulting environment.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be

  • Lead strategic consulting engagements for clients across industries.
  • Advise senior leaders on growth, transformation, and business strategy.
  • Build trusted client relationships and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Develop, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of strategy consultants.
  • Foster collaboration, learning, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support talent development and effective resource planning.
  • Practice Development & Management
  • Shape and grow the Business Strategy practice.
  • Enhance service offerings, methodologies, and market positioning.
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Support proposals, pitches, and client development activities.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

About you

  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting or in relevant functions in industrial companies, ideally with experience in the areas of corporate strategy.
  • Experience in leading strategy development services and experience building or scaling a consulting practice or service line.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence C‑level decision-making.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience driving revenue growth.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
