To strengthen our quality team, we are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Junior Quality Control Specialist (m/f/d). In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our quality standards, working closely with international suppliers and internal teams.
Your Responsibilities
Incoming Inspection: Execute thorough incoming inspections, including visual, dimensional, and functional testing to guarantee the highest quality of incoming parts and materials.
Supplier Management: Act as a key point of contact for suppliers regarding quality standards. Address non-conformities and handle quality issues firmly yet professionally.
Defect Classification: Review components and classify defects accurately based on severity (cosmetic vs. functional vs. safety-critical).
Technical Evaluation: Analyze mechanical and electrical components, read and interpret technical drawings, and assess compliance based on defined specifications.
Your Profile Technical Requirements:
Education: Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a comparable technical field.
Experience: Experience in the medical device industry is a plus, but not mandatory. Backgrounds in Automotive or Electronics Quality Control with transferable skills are highly welcome.
Regulatory & Process Knowledge: Good awareness of ISO 13485 (or a strong foundation in ISO 9001) as well as familiarity with incoming inspection standards.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and understand technical drawings (no creation required).
Basic electrical knowledge (e.g., battery voltage, polarity, short-circuit recognition).
Clear understanding of mechanical assembly (torque specs, thread types, fastener identification).
Language Requirements:
English: Minimum B1 level (solid communication skills).
Italian: A strong "Nice to Have" (B2).
Your Personality:
Highly detail-oriented, systematic, and persistent in pursuing quality standards.
A strong self-starter who works well independently and feels comfortable navigating ambiguous situations.
Diplomatic yet firm when dealing with external partners.
