The Situation

Most recruitment roles ask you to sit in a seat that's already warm. This one asks you to build the engine.

We've just fundamentally restructured how we work. We split our mixed sales and recruitment desks to create a dedicated, specialised Delivery Team. This is a brand-new role to lead that newly merged team.

You aren't maintaining the status quo. You are coming in to shape the strategy, play with AI, set the rules of engagement with Sales, and elevate a team that has heaps of potential.

The Role

Let's be clear: this is not a spreadsheet-management job. You need to love the craft of recruiting.

• Hands-on Recruiting 50%: You will lead from the front, running your own searches and showing the team what excellence looks like.
• Managing & Strategising 50%: Capacity management, prioritisation and leading your team.

The Team You Are Inheriting:

You aren't starting from scratch. You're inheriting a team where some recruiters bring 10+ years of battle-tested experience. Your job isn't to teach them Sourcing, it's to stretch them out of their comfort zone, clear their blockers, and forge solo top-performers into an unstoppable delivery unit.

The Mission

• Fix the Flow: You need to solve prioritisation, capacity management, and cross-team collaboration.
• Set the Rules with Sales: We are not order-takers. You have full backing to push back on unrealistic briefs or low-commitment accounts. But you own the framework: you will establish clear rules of engagement (SLAs) so Sales knows the exact data, commitment, and feedback speed required to get their role to the top of our board.
• Upgrade Candidate Experience: We have Bullhorn and bespoke AI cover-sheet tools, but our backend candidate automation needs work. You aren't just adopting our tech stack, you are its architect. If you spot a tool or workflow that eliminates friction and turns our candidate experience from "good" to "world-class," you have the green light to build it
• Talent Pooling: We are looking for a new hire for your team to improve and deliver on our talent pooling strategy so cover the recurring roles within our top client.

How You Win

We don't care about pointless KPI bashing or daily call logs. We measure real impact: CV-to-interview ratios, offer acceptance rates, time-to-fill, and client feedback. You bring data-driven insights to the table so we can optimize the funnel without drowning the team in spreadsheets.
