We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Analyst to join a major Finance IT transformation programme within the leading insurance company based in Zurich, Switzerland.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation of a Finance Target Architecture (Azure Databricks) , supporting end‑to‑end finance data flows from data ingestion and enrichment through to reporting capabilities.
Key responsibilities Drive business analysis activities for the implementation of the Finance Target Architecture.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and translate business requirements into high‑quality user stories and work items in Azure Dev Ops.
Work closely with software development teams and Finance IT to deliver finance data solutions.
Analyse and document the current state of finance data and perform gap analyses.
Define and document source system data derivation rules.
Support data modelling and integration within a complex data landscape.
Prepare test data, execute testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Support go‑live activities and the transition into Business as Usual (BAU).
What we're looking for 3 – 5 years of Business Analyst experience delivering complex Agile projects.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Finance and accounting knowledge.
Experience working with complex data models and enterprise data landscapes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce clear, high‑quality documentation in English.
