bJobdescription /bbr/pOur client, an established independent trust and private wealth firm in Geneva, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their legal team. /pulliSupport the General Counsel in providing legal advice across the Group, focusing on reviewing, updating, and optimizing internal company, trust, and fiduciary structures /liliAdvise on legal matters relating to private wealth and fiduciary structures, progressively expanding into direct client-facing advisory for UHNW families over time /liliAccurately draft and review trust instruments, board resolutions, intercompany/loan agreements, client correspondence, and meeting materials in a timely manner /liliSupport Group Compliance and Operations on relevant regulatory matters, including CRS, FATCA, Economic Substance, and Beneficial Owner Registers across applicable offshore jurisdictions /liliLiaise and coordinate with external law firms and professional advisers in Switzerland and internationally /liliSupport the General Counsel on ad hoc legal matters, contractual risk advice, and Group projects /liliCoordinate internal legal training sessions for Group staff /li /ul bQualifikationen /bbr/ulliQualified lawyer in a common-law jurisdiction with 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience in private wealth, trusts, and fiduciary services /liliPractical experience with Anglo-Saxon trust frameworks and offshore regimes gained in a law firm, trust house, or family office /liliAbility to advise effectively on both internal Group matters and external client-related legal matters /liliExcellent command of English, both written and spoken /liliAdditional languages are an advantage /liliStrong legal drafting, analytical skills, highest standards of confidentiality and integrity, and ability to advise on both internal operations and external structures /liliProficient user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint /li /ulbr/br/br/br/br/
