Preparation of technical proposals for demanding development projects in close professional exchange with internal and external customers.
Supplier & Partner Management:
Independent identification, selection and support of strategic development partners and suppliers for the realization of new product solutions.
Risk & Innovation Management:
Early identification and proactive management of project risks, as well as the systematic solving of complex, previously undefined problems.
Technology strategy:
Active participation in the strategic design of product and technology roadmaps, as well as the development of continuous proposals for product and process improvements.
Your profile
Education:
Completed university studies (Diploma/Master) in an engineering or natural science course (e.g. Physics, Applied Optics, Photonics, Precision Engineering, Systems Engineering or a comparable education).
Professional experience:
At least 3 years of sound practical experience as a development engineer in the development of sophisticated products with optical, optoelectronic or microtechnical functionality.
Technical expertise:
Extensive knowledge of the design and manufacturing technologies of classical optics, micro-optics and optomechanics; sound experience in optical metrology is a clear advantage.
Personality:
Independent, analytically strong and consistently customer-oriented personality with high organizational skills, high initiative and pronounced teamwork skills.
Customer relations:
Confident, competent and professional handling of direct contact with major international clients.
Languages:
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, for the global work environment
