pFor one of our clients, a global leader in high-precision liquid handling and media preparation solutions for the life sciences industry, we are looking for a bSenior Plastic Design Engineer. /b /ph3General Information: /h3ullibStart date: /basap, also possible as of or /lilibEmployment Type: /bPermanent /lilibWorking hours: /b Standard /lilibHome Office: /bnot possible /li /ulh3About the role: /h3pAs a bSenior Plastic Design Engineer /b, you will lead the development of high-precision plastic consumables and mechanical components, taking innovative liquid handling tools from early ideation through to series production. /ph3Tasks Responsibilities: /h3ulliDesign individual components and assemblies, guiding them from initial concept through production launch. /liliDevelop mechanical plastic solutions for our liquid handling products—focusing on consumables and injection molding—and integrate them into larger systems. /liliPlan and design plastic components from ideation to series production, providing expert support in materials, tooling, and manufacturing technologies. /liliOptimize and simulate injection-molded parts and manufacturing processes. /liliCreate detailed manufacturing documentation, including engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions. /liliSource materials and procure components for functional prototypes. /liliCollaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, suppliers, and service providers. /li /ulh3Requirements: /h3ullibEducation: /bTechnical studies (University of Applied Sciences / Fachhochschule) or Certified Technician in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on plastics technology, OR completed vocational training (draftsman/designer/mechanic) with extensive practical experience. /lilibExperience: Several years of professional experience as a development engineer in plastics. /b /lilibTechnical Focus: Strong, hands-on expertise in the development of injection-molded parts and tool design. /b /lilibCAD: Proficient 3D CAD skills, ideally with SolidWorks. /b /lilibLanguages: German (C1) and English (B2–C1) required. /b /lilibHands-on mentality with enthusiasm for creative solutions and innovative products. /b /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
