Mergers and Acquisitions Senior Investment Banker (f/m/x) – based in Sofia

Are you a self-driven and dynamic professional with a passion for M&A advisory? Do you have a keen interest in deal-making and the skills to navigate complex corporate transactions? If so, explore this exciting career opportunity with RBI.

Your role at RBI:

• Support the heads of RBI’s teams in the origination and execution of M&A advisory mandates in Bulgaria and across SEE/CEE regions
• Collaborate and manage projects with clients, investors, senior banking professionals, and advisers
• Conduct sector and company analysis, valuations, financial modelling, and research
• Participate in marketing meetings and craft marketing materials for M&A deals
• Establish connections with RBI\’s investment banking M&A team in Vienna and other Raiffeisen network banks
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Travel within the CEE/SEE region for project work

Your core competencies:

• Master’s degree in corporate finance or related field
• Experience in M&A, corporate finance advisory, management consulting, private equity, ECM, or acquisition finance
• Cross-border transaction experience
• Proven M&A execution skills on buy-side and sell-side deals
• Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, and problem-solving
• Fluency in English and Bulgarian
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
• CFA or similar qualification is a plus
