We are currently looking for a Site Project Manager (m/w/d)- Nationwide (Germany) for our CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE OF ADVANCED ENGINEERING.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Take overall responsibility for all on-site activities within the Erection & Commissioning scope.
- Assume legal responsibility for the project site and all site personnel, ensuring successful project execution, including financial performance, schedule, and quality targets.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring efficient implementation using standardized project management tools.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, regulations, and procedures, actively promoting and leading the Zero Harm culture.
- Act as the main on-site representative of Project Management, managing relationships with customers, authorities, contractors, partners, and consultants.
- Collaborate closely with the project management and back-office teams to ensure smooth project coordination and execution.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or equivalent educational background in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership position on major construction sites.
- Extensive experience in the construction and execution of complex industrial projects.
- Experience in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) power transmission projects is highly desirable.
- Experience working on EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) and/or consortium projects.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS policies, practices, regulations, and safety plans for complex construction projects.
- Proven experience leading multinational teams in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Advanced German and good command of English.
- Willingness to travel and work at different project locations across Germany (Nationwide Germany).
