We build autonomous ground vehicles. The team is small, so everyone works close to the product: you write the code, you take it to the field, you watch it drive. Whoever does the work makes the call. We ship in days, not quarters.
By shifting dangerous tasks to machines, we protect free societies and the lives of those who serve.
The role
You own the moment everything comes together on the actual vehicle, and you decide how we prove it works.
Level is open. We work with everything from a few years of experience up to principal, as long as you've done this before.
What you'll do
- Define how we test when a large share of the code is written with AI assistance: what has to be proven automatically, what still needs a human at the vehicle
- Build the HIL rigs and automated test setups we don't have yet
- Lead integration from bench to HIL to test drive
- Own the record: what's covered, what isn't, what broke
Good fit if you
- Are an engineer first: you build tooling, not spreadsheets
- Have built HIL or automated test systems for real hardware
- Do the field testing yourself, in whatever weather the day brings
- Stay calm when the vehicle does something unexpected
