Reliability Engineer and Rotating Machinery Specialist
Duration: 1st April 2025 – 31st March 2027
Tasks:
- Develop and improve standards for rotating equipment, covering their entire lifecycle (design, installation, operation, maintenance, and end-of-life).
- Present and disseminate technical standards, ensuring their application in collaboration with maintenance and production teams.
- Support internal teams (maintenance, production, engineering) in investigating failures and during project phases.
- Lead regulatory, normative, and technological monitoring of rotating equipment and share best practices at the site and group level.
- Implement and monitor site-level KPIs for rotating machinery (e.g., MTBF, MTTR) and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve performance.
- Analyze malfunctions and occasional production losses (field analysis, failure mode trees, process conditions).
- Propose and study corrective and improvement actions in consultation with relevant functions.
- Conduct or complete criticality analyses of equipment and formalize the need for stocking critical parts.
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering with expertise in rotating equipment and industrial reliability.
- Engineering degree in Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or Reliability.
- Proficiency in technologies and methodologies related to rotating machinery: centrifugal and volumetric pumps, vacuum pumps, agitators, compressors, turbines.
- Experience in vibration diagnostics, failure mode analysis (RCM, FMEA).
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and conditional maintenance strategies.
- Experience in failure analysis and performance optimization of production equipment.
- Excellent analytical and synthesis abilities, strong writing skills.
- Fluent in French and technical English (minimum level B2).
- Proficiency in computer tools (MS Office, CMMS such as SAP-PM).
- Valid Swiss work permit or EU Citizenship.
