Overview
As a Field Applications Engineer, you will support RTI’s A&D customers in EMEA, working with the regional account manager to drive product and service growth. You’ll engineer compelling demos and proofs-of-concept, translate customer needs into technical proposals, and help evolve RTI’s solutions for the European market. You’ll engage with customers at tradeshows, create technical content, and coordinate with product teams to remove blockers. This role offers a hands-on, customer-facing path to shape A&D technology adoption.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Drive annual sales quota by delivering compelling RTI technology value propositions
- Organize and execute proof-of-concept engagements and build software demos using RTI products
- Support proposals and respond to RFP/RFQ to align with customer requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve pre-sales blockers and respond to RFPs
- Document customer technical requirements with Product Management for evolving the product for EMEA
- Collaborate with Account Management to develop sales strategies and grow the pipeline
- Publish technical articles showcasing RTI technology and business value
- Represent RTI at tradeshows and events to raise product awareness
Zentrale Anforderungen
- BS or higher in a technical field (MS preferred)
- Willingness to travel ~20–40% and on-site work
- 5+ years in A&D in a technical role (e.g., Avionics, Naval systems, or related networking tech)
- Strong OS and networking knowledge (e.g., threading, UDP, multicast, VLANs, OSI layers)
- C/C++ development expertise and understanding of SDLC
- Excellent presentation and strong written/spoken English communication
- Experience designing high-level technical solutions/architecture from customer requirements
