Transformer Stations & Grid Services | Germany

Germany’s grid infrastructure market is going through a huge period of investment, and my client intends to be right at the centre of it.

If you already work around transformer stations, switchgear, grid infrastructure or utility customers, this is an opportunity to join a business early enough to have real influence over what gets built next.

You wouldn’t be stepping into a fixed territory, inherited customer list or rigid corporate structure.

You’d be joining a well-funded German energy infrastructure business that is significantly expanding its Transformer Stations and Grid Services activities, with ambitious plans to become one of the leading players in the market.

Depending on your experience, you could be:

• Developing relationships with Netzbetreiber, Stadtwerke and other grid customers
• Winning new transformer station and MV/HV infrastructure projects
• Working closely with Engineering, Project Management and Calculation to develop technical solutions
• Building key accounts and helping shape the commercial strategy
• Taking on broader sales leadership responsibility as the team grows

The structure is deliberately flexible.

You might already be an experienced Sales Manager in transformer stations or switchgear.

You might be in technical or internal sales and ready for a more customer-facing role.

You could come from a Netzbetreiber or Stadtwerke background and want to move to the supplier side.

Or you may already lead sales and be looking for the chance to help build a commercial organisation rather than inherit one.

What you’ll get is a flat, entrepreneurial environment, direct access to management, plenty of scope to influence decisions and real career progression as the business scales.

For more senior people, that could mean moving into broader sales leadership relatively quickly.

Location is flexible within Germany, with customer travel and occasional time at HQ required. A company car is included.
