Overview
In this role you lead the stress and testing program for passenger seats as the platform-responsible PM for B/C projects, including furniture components. You provide technical leadership to the stress, testing, and simulation team and ensure consistent standards. You collaborate on bids and master planning, review technical feasibility and regulatory requirements, and manage schedules, budgets, and weight targets. You help shape structural concepts and drive certification data transfer to customers and authorities. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear impact on safety, compliance, and program success.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Plan, coordinate, and document the simulation and testing program for passenger seats and furniture components
- Provide technical leadership and coordinate assigned stress, testing, and simulation staff
- Ensure consistent testing and simulation standards across projects
- Contribute to bid preparation and project master planning (budget and capacity estimates)
- Review specifications for technical feasibility, standards, customer specs, and regulatory requirements
- Manage schedules, budgets, weight targets, and corrective actions for deviations
- Contribute to structural concepts and participate in design reviews
- Organize and lead stress and testing meetings and respond to inquiries
- Coordinate transfer of technical data and certification documentation to customers, aircraft manufacturers, and regulators
- Define and enforce go/no-go criteria and incorporate lessons learned
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Engineering (Dipl.-Ingenieur/in FH / Bachelor / Master)
- 3–5 years in simulation, testing, technical project management, development, and certification of passenger seats
- Knowledge of certification, simulation, and testing for passenger seats and furniture components
- Knowledge of aviation standards and regulations
- Proficiency in Polarion, MS Office, JIRA, and PLM
- Very good English skills
