Overview

In this role you lead purchasing activities within customer projects and drive on-time delivery through milestone planning and cross-functional collaboration. You will monitor project status, coordinate regarding feasibility tests and technical drawings, and ensure timely production starts by following up on parts and actions. You work closely with Purchasing to manage corrective actions and prioritize parts across departments, contributing to efficient project execution. This position offers exposure to cross-team stakeholders and a chance to shape project outcomes in a structured supply chain environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Represent purchasing in customer projects
• Plan milestones based on standard lead times for items and parts, including deadlines for feasibility tests, BOMs, and drawings
• Present current project status within Purchasing
• Track milestones and review status in team meetings to ensure on-time deliverables
• Follow up on purchasing parts to ensure production starts on time
• Execute corrective actions, including store floor management in purchasing
• Prioritize responsible parts across involved departments

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Completed studies in industrial engineering or comparable qualification with relevant experience
• Professional experience in purchasing and/or project management
• Experience in technical purchasing, preferably in project business
• Business proficiency in German and English
• Good MS Office skills and SAP knowledge desirable
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical abilities
