Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to lead strategy, execution, and team development in a dynamic payroll and software solutions environment. This role combines leadership, commercial growth, and hands-on execution, offering the opportunity to shape integrated sales and marketing initiatives while driving measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and manage a 5-person sales and marketing team with both disciplinary and functional responsibility.

  • Strategy Development: Define and execute an integrated strategy focused on acquiring new mid-sized business customers and expanding software solution sales.

  • Activity Management: Plan, manage, and control all sales, marketing, and customer retention activities, including budget responsibility.

  • Market Analysis: Analyze market, customer, and competitor data to identify growth opportunities and refine product and pricing strategies.

  • Process Optimization: Lead digitalization and process improvement projects in sales and marketing.

  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strategic customer and partner relationships, representing the company at industry events.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field

  • Several years of professional experience in sales and marketing, ideally in payroll or software solutions

  • Proven team leadership experience with a hands-on approach

  • Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and independent working style

  • Confident communicator in German and English, with natural networking ability
