We are currently looking for a Vehicle Diagnostic Development Engineer project for permanent employment for our client in Munich.
Responsibilities:
- Definition of software requirements for onboard diagnostics based on system requirements
- Creation and maintenance of documentation for traceability of diagnostic coverage
- Identification of diagnostic dependencies to create functional links
- Requesting new DTCs in the diagnostic database by providing all required attributes
- Checking, commissioning and coordinating the implementation
- Applying diagnostics to ensure compliance and robustness
- Analyzing reports for acceptance testing of the software
- Coordination with other functional development departments
- Working on project for e-powertrain domain
Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience including 3 years of diagnostic experience
- Knowledge of ZEDIS
- Concept development of diagnostic functions with details such as naming and trigger conditions
- Understanding of FIS FID
- General understanding of AUTOSAR, DEM and DCM
- Knowledge of Freezframe
- Understanding of MATLAB/Simulink and programming knowledge
- Deep understanding of various DcDc functionalities (precharging, buck, load shifting, component protection)
- Application knowledge for diagnostic functions (e.g. time-critical)
- Deep knowledge of DcDc converter
- At least B2 level of English and German
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of INCA and analysis tools such as MDA, CARMEN, Turbolab
