Enterprise Architect

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving IT landscape engineering, supporting IT management with road mapping, market insights, and strategic direction. You will also strengthen our existing Enterprise Architect capability, increasing capacity and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities

1. Support the formulation of technology strategy in response to disruptive external or internal forces and operationalize it.
2. Drive IT Landscape Engineering through proactive management of the IT landscape beyond investment planning horizons, operationalizing strategy, identifying drivers for change, and defining architecture directions with stakeholders.
3. Analyze business strategy and future-state capabilities to identify Strategic Themes, detect gaps, and identify opportunities for improvement aligned with the IT Strategy.
4. Support IT Demand Management and contribute to decentralized decision-making, providing actionable EA deliverables in an agile, time-boxed manner.
5. Align initiative scope with strategy, roadmap, and the big picture (Scope Alignment).
6. Assess current-state Landscape fit and gaps to support future capabilities (Landscape Fit/Gap).
7. Identify candidate IT markets, trends, and vendors to address capability gaps (IT Market Screening).
8. Define future-state target architecture options based on value models (Target Architecture).
9. Enhance data-driven IT Landscape Analytics to empower EA processes and strategic decisions.
10. Provide colleagues with IT Market Insights to maintain an overview of relevant IT markets.
11. Foster decentral innovation through Continuous Innovation & Foresight services, guiding IT on emerging technologies.
12. Position the EA practice as an internal management consultancy, supporting strategy formulation and execution.
13. Periodically review and refine EA services and capabilities to meet stakeholder needs and drive improvements.
14. Integrate EA into IT organization and processes to enhance effectiveness and impact.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Business Information Systems, Informatics, or Business Administration.
• Experience in IT, preferably in EA or cross-functional roles.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Experience in Enterprise Architecture, working on Business, Application, or Information Architectures.
• Strong understanding of business processes and their IT relationships, with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications in enterprise architecture, such as TOGAF, are a plus.
• Travel up to 10% allowed.
