Responsibilities
- Support the formulation of technology strategy in response to disruptive external or internal forces and operationalize it.
- Drive IT Landscape Engineering through proactive management of the IT landscape beyond investment planning horizons, operationalizing strategy, identifying drivers for change, and defining architecture directions with stakeholders.
- Analyze business strategy and future-state capabilities to identify Strategic Themes, detect gaps, and identify opportunities for improvement aligned with the IT Strategy.
- Support IT Demand Management and contribute to decentralized decision-making, providing actionable EA deliverables in an agile, time-boxed manner.
- Align initiative scope with strategy, roadmap, and the big picture (Scope Alignment).
- Assess current-state Landscape fit and gaps to support future capabilities (Landscape Fit/Gap).
- Identify candidate IT markets, trends, and vendors to address capability gaps (IT Market Screening).
- Define future-state target architecture options based on value models (Target Architecture).
- Enhance data-driven IT Landscape Analytics to empower EA processes and strategic decisions.
- Provide colleagues with IT Market Insights to maintain an overview of relevant IT markets.
- Foster decentral innovation through Continuous Innovation & Foresight services, guiding IT on emerging technologies.
- Position the EA practice as an internal management consultancy, supporting strategy formulation and execution.
- Periodically review and refine EA services and capabilities to meet stakeholder needs and drive improvements.
- Integrate EA into IT organization and processes to enhance effectiveness and impact.
Qualifications
- University Degree in Business Information Systems, Informatics, or Business Administration.
- Experience in IT, preferably in EA or cross-functional roles.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Experience in Enterprise Architecture, working on Business, Application, or Information Architectures.
- Strong understanding of business processes and their IT relationships, with a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certifications in enterprise architecture, such as TOGAF, are a plus.
- Travel up to 10% allowed.
