We are looking for an experienced Freelance Accountant to support the finance department with day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with the French Plan Comptable Général (PCG), including statutory reporting and tax compliance.
Tasks:
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounting.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with PCG.
- Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory tax filings.
- Perform account and intercompany reconciliations.
- Liaise with auditors and external tax advisors where required.
Skills:
- Several years of accounting experience, ideally within an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of the French Plan Comptable Général (PCG); IFRS knowledge is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Business-fluent French and English (minimum B2); German is not required.
