Overview
In this role you will lead the architecture of cloud-native services and distributed Go-based microservices within a large-scale, remote-first transformation. You’ll guide cross-border development teams, drive DevOps and CI/CD practices, and ensure scalable, open-source-driven solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into tangible deliverables and present architectural recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. This position combines hands-on development with strategic architecture in a highly innovative environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define architecture for cloud-native services, applications, and integration scenarios
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable development deliverables
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable Go-based microservices and distributed systems
- Establish and document DevOps, CI/CD, operational, and deployment concepts
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and product stakeholders across international teams
- Contribute hands-on to development, documentation, testing, and solution validation
- Present architectural decisions and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years' commercial experience with Go / GoLang
- Strong background in cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and production clusters
- Experience developing Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, CRDs, or platform automation tooling (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Git-based development
- Experience with Docker, Linux, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD
- Exposure to TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Java (beneficial)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a technical environment
