RED, on behalf of a Key Client Partner, is currently searching for SAP BASIS Consultants/Administrators to take part in a new S/4HANA transformation project delivering to a Utilities end user in Germany.

Role: SAP BASIS
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Hybrid travel across Frankfurt, Munich, and Essen, every third week
Capacity: 5 days a week
Languages: German

The SAP Basis Consultant role involves advising the Project/Team on best practices for managing their SAP environments. Responsibilities include assessing current system landscapes, identifying optimization opportunities, and supporting migrations, upgrades, and implementation of new technologies. The consultant works closely with IT teams to ensure system stability, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and optimizing SAP Basis operations
• Advising on system upgrades, migrations, and cloud strategies
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and recommending improvements
• Ensuring compliance with security and IT governance policies

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP Basis (focus on SAP Solution Manager and ITSM-Scenarios) administration and architecture
• Experience with SAP upgrades and infrastructure planning
• Knowledge of performance optimization and system tuning
