Overview
As an Application Developer Consultant in Germany, you will apply cloud-native development expertise to client environments, focusing on automation, reliability, and scalable architectures. You will lead on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat technologies, and collaborate with client teams to transform their infrastructures. You’ll drive technical guidance, architecture decisions, and practical solutions in open source contexts, delivering measurable impact. This role blends hands-on development with advisory work in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop libraries and services and implement reference deployments
- Coach client development teams in modern methodologies
- Conduct mini enablements and support DevEx initiatives
- Create conversion and system implementation plans
- Prepare and secure approval of system and programming documentation
- Recommend changes in development, maintenance and standards
- Serve as subject matter expert for technical and strategic IT needs
- Adapt to changing customer requirements and be trusted advisor
- Manage problem identification, architecture definition, software specification and design, testing and deployment of open source solutions
- Deliver quality results on-site or remote with project documentation
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Delivery-level infrastructure technology knowledge
- Experience deploying container technologies at enterprise scale
- Knowledge of OpenShift, RHEL, Ansible Automation Platform
- OpenShift/Cloud-native development
- Java Springboot or Python
- DevOps tools: Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD), GitLab CI/CD
- German language at least C1; English as well
- Willingness to travel within EMEA
- Consulting experience or Red Hat certifications considered a plus
- Security clearance willingness considered a plus
- Strong customer-facing skills and ability to present to clients
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Clear communication in German and English
