About the role: We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) to join our IT Operations & Infrastructure department onsite in our Sevenum office, near Venlo. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation and optimization of our IT infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical services to our customers and uphold our commitment to excellence. Job Description About your tasks:✓ Design, setup, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure servers (Windows/Linux).✓ Develop and build new services.✓ Automate tasks (Ansible, Scripting).✓ Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory; manage users, groups, and objects; perform audits, apply security measures, and ensure timely patching.✓ Manage VMWare ESX/VSphere environments; size, setup, maintain, and troubleshoot virtualized hosts (Windows/Linux).✓ Setup, maintain, audit, and secure firewalls (Sophos UTM/XG), network switches (HP/Aruba), and Radius servers (Clearpass). Qualifications About you:✓ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.✓ Proficiency in Active Directory, virtualization (VMWare ESX/VSphere), and infrastructure management (servers, firewalls, switches, Radius).✓ Familiarity with scheduled tasks, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and monitoring tools (checkMK, ELK Stack) is an advantage.✓ Willingness to travel to our sites in Belgium, Germany, Austria, France and Italy.✓ Experience with setting up, maintain, audit, and secure checkMK and ELK Stack monitoring systems.
