Verantwortungsbereiche
- Shape architecture across the Transaction domain and two engineering teams
- Design scalable frontend and backend solutions with data-driven trade-offs on performance, security, reliability and maintainability
- Remain hands-on in frontend (React) and backend (Java) to influence customer-facing checkout experiences
- Establish engineering standards, patterns, and platform capabilities beyond a single team
- Lead cross-team alignment among Checkout, Payments, Orders, Shipping and dependent areas
- Mentor engineers and facilitate architecture discussions to enable independent decision-making
- Translate business needs into sustainable technical strategy with Product/UX input
- Partner with Product, UX, Security and SRE to evaluate trade-offs using metrics and industry trends
- Drive architectural decisions that impact multiple domains and manage risk beyond one team
- Contribute to future native iOS/Android checkout experiences as platform evolves

- Deep hands-on full-stack experience with React and Java
- Experience designing complex distributed systems and leading architectural decisions across multiple teams
- Strong track record of leading through influence and mentoring engineers
- Ability to align technical direction with business needs and product goals

- Experience or openness to checkout, payments, orders, e-commerce or marketplace domains; native Android/Kotlin or iOS/Swift exposure is valuable
