About You
- 6+ years of experience as a technical problem solver, with a proven history of building high-performance, user-facing applications at scale.
- Expert knowledge of the Svelte Framework and React, with the ability to define state management and component architecture patterns.
- Deep expertise in PHP (OOP, SOLID), specifically in architecting scalable interfaces for micro-service architectures.
- Mastery of modern Web Vitals, focusing on Interaction to Next Paint (INP) and server-side rendering speeds to support 30M MAU.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, ensuring type safety across complex full-stack implementations.
- Experience establishing UI testing strategies (Cypress, Playwright, or similar) to maintain stability in an agile environment.
- Mastery of Git and workflow automation, leading the transition from manual processes to automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced C1 English level with the ability to lead reviews of colleagues' work and present technical roadmaps.
- Proven record of shipping complex features on time and within budget in a high-load environment.
- Self-sufficient leader who exercises discretion in identifying and responding to complex issues without the need for constant oversight.
About the Role
- Strategic Product Architecture: Lead the architectural direction of the user-facing applications, ensuring the Svelte and React ecosystems are scalable, maintainable, and optimized for a global audience of 30M monthly users.
- Performance & UX Governance: Set the global standards for frontend performance, specifically focusing on Interaction to Next Paint (INP) and server-side rendering speeds to ensure a "world-leading" experience for professional content creators.
- Full-Stack API Design: Direct the design of high-performance contracts between the UI and our micro-service backend, ensuring seamless integration with Rust and PHP services without introducing latency.
- Product Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve complex systemic issues related to the user journey, conversion funnels, and interactive UGC tools that impact 50k monthly sign-ups.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead technical reviews for the product team, establishing "clean code" and SOLID standards while identifying growth opportunities for senior and mid-weight engineers.
