- Someone who really enjoys coding, keeping on trends, and who views coding as still a hobby will likely do very well here
WHAT DO I NEED TO BE GOOD AT?
- A naturally curious engineer, especially about Go, and someone who enjoys exploring general technology
- Working on various topics - these can range from integrating video ads, enhancing response times, optimizing click-throughs, improving the recommendation engine
- Proficiency in Golang (or similar), knowledge of or ideally experience of goroutines, web server creation, and API consumption
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- 1-3 years professional experience in backend development ideally with Golang / Kubernetes
- GRPC APIs, experience with databases like Scylla and Elasticsearch, Monolithic applications
- Taking ownership and focusing on delivery
EXTRA
- This is officially an on-site position based in Berlin, however there is a lot of flexibility when needed
- This is a junior-mid level position, someone straight from education or bootcamp with no professional/production experience will not work I\'m afraid.
- Even as a junior you will have a high degree of autonomy and growth for continuous personal development
- As the role progresses you will also become responsible for some topics around infrastructure, debugging, monitoring, deployment.
