Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in the Geneva Metropolitan Area for general practitioners, cardiologists, gynecologists, and other medical specialists, with a particular focus on ambulatory surgery, including ophthalmology. Clinicians will provide primary and specialty care, conduct consultations, evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions, and coordinate diagnostic tests and follow-up. Daily activities include performing outpatient procedures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting clinical encounters in line with regulatory standards, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care. Team members will also participate in care pathways for ambulatory surgery, contribute to clinical quality improvement, and support a positive experience for patients across basic and private insurance plans.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Primary Care and Family Medicine for managing a broad range of patient needs.
- Competence in Medicine and Urgent Care to assess and treat acute conditions in an outpatient setting.
- Experience as Primary Care Physicians or specialists (e.g., cardiology, gynecology, ophthalmology) in ambulatory care.
- Valid medical degree (MD or equivalent) and board certification/recognition in relevant specialty.
- Current license to practice medicine in Switzerland or eligibility to obtain it.
- Experience with outpatient and day-surgery pathways, ideally including ophthalmologic procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in French; additional languages (e.g., English, German, Italian) are an advantage.
- Willingness to participate in quality assurance, clinical governance, and continuous professional development.
