We’re looking for a java developer to:
- Collaborate to refine user requirements though test-driven development (TDD)
- Analyze root causes of incidents and provide answers
- Document the provided resolutions
- Perform code reviews and share results with colleagues
- System specification and design
- Support and maintenance
Your team:
You’ll be working in the IB Financing team in Singapore. We provide engineering services to Financing business divisions of the UBS group. Together as team, we provide solutions to unique business/market requirements in line with the established Corporate IT Standards. As a java developer, you’ll play an important role in helping to source, develop, implement, maintain and support best in class software solutions.

Your expertise:
- Minimally 8 years of experience as Java Developer & finance sector background is a big plus
- Experience of building low latency applications in java / using any standard framework
- In depth understanding of standards, methods, techniques, templates as defined by SDLC (code repository handling, code review, penetration-testing etc)
- Able to produce secure, stable and good performing code
- Experience with the Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, SOAP, Maven
- Knowledge of Software Design Patterns, and Enterprise/ Integration patterns
- Experience using DevOps toolsets like GitLab, Jenkins etc
- Experience of working in any RDBMS technologies like oracle/Sybase or noSQL
- Hands-on experience in developing & deploying in Microsoft Azure Cloud will be an added advantage
