Developer of ultrashort pulsed lasers

Our established laser systems will be the core of our pioneering medical technology, while already being used worldwide for fascinating research. As part of our development team, you will create novel laser technology for ultrashort pulsed lasers and nonlinear frequency conversion. You will develop new products as well as improve our existing ones, both for application-specific customizations and in projects with inspiring partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and experimental evaluation of novel laser systems
• Assembly of electronic and mechanical subsystems
• Iterative development of prototypes up to the transfer into production
• Observation of scientific and technological trends
• Planning and execution of publicly funded research projects
• If desired: tasks in related fields such as service or sales

Minimum Requirements

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Physics, Optics, or related fields
• Experience in the assembly of lasers and optical setups
• Knowledge of ultra-short pulsed lasers and nonlinear frequency conversion
• Independent, thorough, and team-oriented way of working
• Eager for new challenges and hands-on mentality
