Overview
In this role, you will steer the regional transformation of underwriting, claims, medical and biometric capabilities across EMEA. You’ll shape scalable, data-led solutions that improve client value and efficiency, working with cross-functional teams and markets to deliver enterprise-wide change. You’ll lead innovation initiatives, leverage AI and advanced analytics, and ensure practical implementation across regions. This is a strategic, impact-focused opportunity to redefine how underwriting and claims are delivered while supporting global objectives.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and lead the EMEA transformation strategy for underwriting, claims, medical and biometric risk.
- Digitalise underwriting and claims capabilities to enhance customer experience, risk assessment and efficiency across markets.
- Identify-opportunities through analytics, data sources and partnerships to advance underwriting and innovative reinsurance solutions.
- Lead biometric solutions with cross-functional collaboration to translate insights into client-ready outcomes.
- Drive end-to-end process improvements, governance, and adoption across regional units and external partners.
- Collaborate with enterprise teams and regional leadership to align objectives and deliver regional benefits.
- Represent RGA externally on innovation and transformation, supporting business development with new propositions.
- Build and mentor a high-performing transformation function, fostering talent and continuous improvement.
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Relevant qualification in insurance, risk, underwriting, claims, technology, business transformation or related discipline
- Significant experience in life/health insurance, reinsurance, underwriting, claims or risk
- Proven track record leading large-scale transformation or digital strategy programmes
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments across multiple markets
- Strong understanding of underwriting/claims processes and industry trends
- Experience leading AI, automation, data analytics or digital underwriting initiatives preferred
- Experience in global or regional matrix organisations preferred
- Strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate emerging technologies into practical business solutions
