What you will do at reisetopia

As part of our software engineering team you will get the chance to participate in the further development of reisetopia and its platform. By achieving your set goals you will actively drive our growth forward. Your daily work focuses on the following tasks:

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Technical Excellence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve team processes and product quality.
• Code Analysis and Recommendations: Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for optimization and refactoring.
• Code Quality: Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable TypeScript code, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
• Code Maintainability: Ensure code is well-organized, documented, and easy to understand, with a focus on long-term maintainability and scalability.
• Product Delivery: Oversee the development and delivery of technical products or services, ensuring they meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements.

What qualifications we expect from you

Considering the job as a Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/x) we are explicitly looking for someone, who is fully committed from the first day on and who is passionate about implementing our tech projects. Therefore, we require the following qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, and related technologies such as React, Redux, Express and Nodejs.
• Excellent Knowledge using databases like MongoDB and MySQL.
• Knowledge using testing tools like Jest and ideally Selenium or Cypress.
• Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize code performance.
• Have experience working in a startup especially in an ever-evolving agile team environment.
