Your Tasks

• Lead the Finance, Processes, Systems and Compliance Unit within the International Cooperation Division, overseeing financial management and compliance teams.
• Provide goal-oriented, motivating, and value-based leadership and development for employees.
• Manage the portfolio budget, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and divisional objectives.
• Optimize processes related to financial administration, project management, and compliance.
• Create financial reports, dashboards, and manage project audits.
• Develop and enhance internal systems to ensure data quality.
• Coordinate with finance, controlling, compliance, and IT departments within Plan International Germany.
• Collaborate with Global Hub, Regional Hub, and Country Office Finance Teams.
• Maintain a knowledge management system for financial, system, and process topics.
• Design and implement strategic initiatives for the division.
• Oversee monthly and annual financial statements.
• Participate in the management team of the International Cooperation Division.

Your Profile

• Degree in Finance & Accounting, Controlling, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
• Minimum of five years\‘ professional experience in project and/or financial controlling; international cooperation experience is advantageous.
• At least three years of leadership experience managing large and diverse teams.
• Experience in process digitization and optimization.
• Fluent in English; German and other languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of IT-based project management systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics 365), proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), with data management and programming skills (e.g., SQL) considered an advantage.
