Equifind are partnering with a leading global financial services firm to find an experienced HR Business Partner to join their Frankfurt-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, influence business decisions, and help shape a people strategy that supports growth, performance, and long-term success.

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, partnering across multiple functions to deliver strategic and operational HR support. You'll play a key role in driving employee engagement, talent development, organisational effectiveness, and business performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance across all areas of the employee lifecycle, including talent management, performance, development, and retention.
  • Support organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
  • Lead and manage employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and company policies.
  • Drive performance management processes, succession planning, and talent reviews.
  • Coach and support managers to enhance leadership capability and team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment, Learning & Development, and Reward teams to deliver a seamless employee experience.
  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Contribute to HR projects, continuous improvement activities, and broader business transformation programmes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner within the financial services sector or a similarly fast-paced, professional environment.
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge across employee relations, performance management, talent development, reward, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at leadership level.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.

Desirable

  • A recognised HR qualification such as CIPD or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of German employment law.
  • Experience supporting change and transformation initiatives.
