Location: Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe (Hybrid -- up to 2 home-office days per week)
Salary: €100,000 -- €110,000 base + 10% KPI Bonus

About the Role
We are looking for a driven and analytical (Senior) Investment Manager Private Markets -- Private Credit to join an established, leading multi-asset investment specialist. With decades of independent market expertise, our organization advises clients holistically, combining tradition, innovation, and sustainability to generate strong risk-adjusted performance across traditional and alternative asset classes.
In this role, you will play a key part within our private markets team, taking ownership of fund selection, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring with a primary focus on private credit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manager Selection & Sourcing: Independently identify, analyze, and assess private-market fund managers with a core focus on Private Credit strategies.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative due diligence processes, evaluating investment strategies, track records, team quality, fund structures, terms & conditions, and risk profiles.
- Investment Recommendations: Prepare well-founded investment recommendations for internal committees and institutional clients.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Actively monitor existing fund investments, including ongoing performance analysis, liquidity planning, and mandate-specific reporting.
- Client & Stakeholder Interaction: Create and present investor reports, and participate regularly in committee sessions, mandate meetings, and client appointments.
- Market Research & Strategy: Produce comprehensive market analyses and contribute actively to the evolution of existing and new investment concepts.
- Sales Support: Support sales units in new-client acquisition through expert presentations of products and services.
Candidate Profile
Must-Haves:
- Education: Successfully completed degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field (minimum Bachelor's), ideally complemented by relevant professional certifications.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience, with several years of hands-on experience in the selection, analysis, and due diligence of Private Credit funds.
- Core Competencies: Strong financial analysis skills; deep understanding of fund strategies, manager quality, track records, fund structures, terms & conditions, and risk profiles.
- Communication & Presentation: Ability to translate complex investment analyses into clear, stakeholder-friendly presentations.
- Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams.
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in both German (C1) and English (C1).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Direct exposure or experience in M&A, Leveraged Loans, Debt Advisory, or Private Credit Secondaries.
- Additional familiarity with Infrastructure and Private Equity asset classes.
- Understanding of institutional investment processes and regulatory requirements.
