Camino Search is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed technology business to hire a Senior Group Accountant.
This is a key hire within the finance function, reporting directly to the CFO. It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of Group accounting while playing a central role as the business scales. The company is going through an exciting period of growth, with further expansion and acquisitions planned, creating significant scope for the role to develop alongside it.
What you'll be doing
- Take ownership of Group accounting and consolidation across multiple entities in Germany
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting under HGB and IFRS
- Work closely with the CFO to strengthen internal controls, improve data quality and automate recurring finance processes
- Take responsibility for day-to-day accounting including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, provisions and reconciliations
- Work closely with Controlling and project teams on areas including project costs, capitalisation and accounting for material contracts
- Manage the consolidation process, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and the integration of new entities
