Digital Marketing Manager - SEO, Web & AI Visibility in Ulm

Your mission

We are looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to help us grow our digital presence across search engines, AI/LLM platforms and our website.

This is not a role for someone who only creates strategies, briefs agencies or reviews reports. We are looking for someone who gets things done. You should be comfortable getting into the CMS, creating and optimizing pages, improving site structure, fixing SEO issues, managing the blog and turning ideas into reality.

You will work closely with content writers, product marketers, designers, developers and the wider marketing team to make our website and organic presence a strong driver of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and execute our SEO strategy, covering technical SEO, on-page SEO, content, and organic growth.

• Drive our AI/LLM visibility, exploring how we can improve our presence across emerging LLM platforms.

• Manage and continuously improve our marketing website, creating pages, optimizing existing ones, and refining navigation, internal linking, and information architecture.

• Own the technical SEO roadmap, identifying and fixing issues around crawling, indexing, structured data, performance, metadata, and site architecture.

• Work with content writers to develop and optimize SEO-driven content, landing pages, and blog content.

• Partner with product marketers to turn product priorities and launches into strong digital experiences.

• Work with designers and developers to build and improve overall website experiences.

• Analyze performance using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO platforms, turning insights into action.

• Continuously test, learn, and adapt as search and AI discovery evolve.

Your mission

Your profile

• 4+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, growth marketing or a similar role.

• Strong expertise in SEO, including technical SEO.

• Hands-on experience managing and improving websites and CMS platforms.

• Someone who is comfortable building and editing pages themselves, not just managing people who do it.

• Strong understanding of website architecture, search intent, content optimization and organic growth.

• Experience working cross-functionally with content, product marketing, design and social.

• Genuine interest in AI, LLMs and the future of search.

• Analytical, curious and highly execution-oriented.

• Fluent in English. German and other languages are a plus.

Great to have

• Webflow experience - must.

• Experience with LLM visibility / GEO / AI SEO.

• Content writing or editorial experience - a plus.

• Experience managing content writers.

• Experience with working with freelancers / agencies for backlinks while remaining the internal lead executor (must).

• Design skills - a plus.

• Experience in a technology, SaaS, startup or rapidly growing company.

• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
