My client, a reputable multinational firm based in Stuttgart, is seeking an accounts payable accountant to join their shared service centre, which serves as a central management point for the entire DACH region. The role is full-time and operates on a hybrid model.
Accounts Payable Accountant Job Responsibilities:
- Processing incoming invoices and credits daily, including checking according to legal and internal guidelines.
- Handling accounting for intercompany transactions.
- Providing support with transfer pricing documentation.
- Digitally storing invoices following an electronic approval process.
- Posting invoices via the merchandise management system.
- Creating and maintaining creditor accounts.
- Supporting and participating in monthly and annual financial statements according to IFRS/HGB.
Candidate Profile:
- Completed commercial training or comparable qualifications with initial practical experience in accounts payable accounting.
- Strong affinity for numbers.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to work in an international team, high flexibility, self-motivation, endurance, and commitment.
