Financial Controller | Global Leader | Switzerland
On behalf of our client, a leading multinational, we are seeking a Financial Controller to join the Group Controlling team based in Switzerland. Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, the role will provide financial insight across a portfolio of international businesses, with a strong focus on financial performance, reporting and operational analysis. Responsibilities Support the leadership team in the financial oversight of assigned countries and businesses. Analyse revenue, costs and profitability and identify opportunities to improve performance. Undertake cost control and review operational expenditure. Review weekly and monthly financial reporting and investigate key variances. Review working capital, cash management and foreign exchange exposure. Undertake ad hoc financial analysis in collaboration with regional and group finance teams. Profile Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA. Minimum of five years’ experience within external audit, financial controlling or a comparable finance role. Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to understand operational performance. Experience within logistics, transportation or a similarly operationally complex international sector, either directly or through an external audit portfolio, is required. Advanced Excel skills and exposure to SAP. Business fluent in English; French, Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin would be advantageous. Must be eligible to work in Switzerland.
